At Stratford area of north-east London there is a pub that is part of Iron Maiden's history, Cart & Horses. On the outside, the store does not tell what happened there 35+ years ago, in 1975 for accuracy, where our beloved band first stepped on the music scene!
The band's first gig stayed in history, not of course in the form we know it today as only founder Steve Harris was present at the time.
The place is very well kept inside and very welcoming, with polite and friendly staff as well as of course with all kinds of alcohol and plenty of Trooper beer.
The highlight is the corner with great photos, posters and all sorts of goodies from the band and of course the incredibly small scene in the middle of the shop that writes at the bottom: The birthplace of Iron Maiden.
