Iron Maiden tops Billboard's Hot Tours chart

British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN this week landed at position No. 1 on Billboard.com 's "Hot Tours" list of top-grossing tours with $19 million in ticket sales from 14 performances in 13 cities on their summer tour of Europe. The shows were attended by a total of 259,298 fans, including a sellout crowd of 55,531 at a football stadium, Friends Arena, in the Stockholm suburb of Solna, Sweden. Also included was a sold-out concert on May 29 at Lisbon, Portugal's Pavilhão Atlântico.

British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN performed in front of a sellout crowd of 55,000 at the new national stadium in Stockholm, Sweden — Friends Arena — on July 13. The venue has a roof which meant that for the first time ever in Sweden, IRON MAIDEN fans were able to enjoy the full glory of the entire "Maiden England" show in a dark stadium.

Iron Maiden’s Saturday Aug 3 show at London’s O2 Arena sold out in just 12 mins so a second show has been added on Sunday Aug 4. This will definitely be the band’s last UK show this year as soon after they head off for a few selected USA shows before a massive trip around Latin America including headlining Rock in Rio and National Stadiums in Mexico, Chile and Argentina.
Iron Maiden launches online store for Trooper beer

British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN have launched an online store dedicated to their new ale, Trooper beer. The Trooper beer was officially launched on May 9 at Robinsons Brewery in Cheshire, with a reception attended by brewing trade representatives from both the U.K. and internationally.

IRON MAIDEN kicked off its headlining performance at Download festival earlier tonight (Saturday, June 15) with a Spitfire flypast. The classic World War II fighter plane reportedly crossed the skies at Donington Park in Leicestershire, United Kingdom three times before the British heavy metal legends opened their show with "Moonchild", a song from their 1988 album "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son".
