Iron Maiden, finally they returned back to their home ground at Donington Park (at the historic Monsters Of Rock/ Donington) having the ace up their sleeve by performing the 1988 setlist (with minor modifications) and a lot of surprises. Need to point out that it has been 6 years since Maiden’s last concert at this historic ground.

The concert to celebrate late DEEP PURPLE keyboardist Jon Lord's life and music will be held on April 4, 2014 at London, England's Royal Albert Hall. Artists confirmed so far include DEEP PURPLE members Ian Paice, Roger Glover, Don Airey and Steve Morse. IRON MAIDEN frontman and longtime The Sunflower Jam supporter Bruce Dickinson will also perform, along with Rick Wakeman, Joe Brown and Alfie Boe.

On Saturday, June 15, IRON MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson spoke to the Leicester Mercury about a charity helping disabled people take to the skies. Check out video footage below. Dickinson, a commercial airline pilot and established aviation entrepreneur, has also been vice-patron of the Flying Scholarships for Disabled People (FSDP) charity for the past three years.

IRON MAIDEN kicked off its headlining performance at Download festival earlier tonight (Saturday, June 15) with a Spitfire flypast. The classic World War II fighter plane reportedly crossed the skies at Donington Park in Leicestershire, United Kingdom three times before the British heavy metal legends opened their show with "Moonchild", a song from their 1988 album "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son". Bruce Dickinson announced tonight to 90,000 fans at Download Festival, Donington Park, that Maiden will round off the current 30 date European leg of their MAIDEN ENGLAND WORLD TOUR in London, with a show at the O2 Arena on Saturday 3rd August.

A limited quantity of TROOPER beer will be available to buy while stocks last from three locations on the site: 2 of them between the Main & Secondary stage areas, and 1 in the campsite.
