Iron Maiden to play two Russian dates on Maiden England tour

Maiden will return to Russia in 2013 with a show at Arena (Ice Palace), Saint-Petersburg on 16th July and a show at Moscow’s Olimpyski Stadium on 18th July. Tickets go onsale 7th December at 09:00 (CET) . An exclusive first ticket pre-sale for Iron Maiden Fan Club members will run on 6th December starting at 09.00 (CET). Fan club members will also be eligible in the draw to be First To The Barrier.

As Maiden fans know, I recently took part in our Truants Charity Bike Ride in Morocco, 3 days and 120 miles of heat and dust out of Marrakesh and into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. We were once again raising much needed funding for three Children’s Charities – Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, Childline and The Teenage Cancer Trust.

British heavy metal singer Blaze Bayley (IRON MAIDEN, WOLFSBANE) has finished mixing and mastering his upcoming collaborative acoustic EP with Belgium-based classical guitarist Thomas Zwijsen, "Russian Holiday". In addition, Blaze and Thomas have just started a competition for the CD's cover artwork. Fans that are creative and want to be part of this EP can send their creation to management@blazebayley.net before December 22.

This signed Maiden guitar is being auctioned for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. The auction takes place December 2nd, follow the link for more info. A Jackson Adrian Smith Signature electric guitar, signed in 2011 by members of Iron Maiden: Adrian Smith, Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Bruce Dickinson, Nicko McBrain, and Janick Gers.
