Maiden in Paris the 5th of June

On June 5 Maiden will bring the Maiden England World tour to Paris Bercy, a venue they have played many times before, including on the original Seventh Son tour back in 1988. Tickets will go onsale on Monday, October 15 at 10.00 am, with an exclusive first ticket pre-sale for Iron Maiden Fan Club members which will run from Wednesday, Oct 10 from 09.00 am, closing 6pm Thursday Oct 11. Fan club members will also be eligible in the draw to be ’First To The Barrier’.
British Lion's first-week sales revealed

IRON MAIDEN bassist/founder Steve Harris's solo/side project album, "British Lion", sold around 3,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 125. The CD also landed at position No. 3 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

First band to be announced to play in Stockholm

On July 13 the Maiden England tour hits Sweden where the band will play at the magnificent National Stadium in Stockholm - Friends Arena! This is the first rock show ever to beannounced at this brand new 50,000 capacity venue. Tickets will go onsale on Tuesday, October 2nd, at 9.00 am, with an exclusive first ticket pre-sale for Iron Maiden Fan Club members which will run from 10:00 Saturday 29th through to 18.00 hrs Sunday 30th September (local times). Fan club members will also be eligible in the draw to be ’First To The Barrier’.

The luminaries celebrated the life and work of revolutionary amp pioneer Jim Marshall with an unparalleled display of rock virtuosity.

Next weekend, Rod and The Truants will be on their bikes again - this time to Marrakesh for 130 miles of mainly off-road and decidedly hilly-sounding cycling, all in the name of charity. So, as has become traditional, we're having a special fanclub-only auction to raise some extra funds. This time we've had a dig through the archives and pulled out some goodies along a 'Maiden England' theme - to celebrate the successful US tour and to look forward to 2013 in Europe.
