Steve Harris - British Lion (Παρουσίαση από το Iron Maiden the Greek FC)

Steve Harris - This is my God
ΚριτικέςWhen Steve Harris is behind a composition or even a bass-line there's nothing more to expect than perfection! This is my God is the opening track of his debut album in his solo career making a huge turn on classic British rock! Excellent opening riff with a mid-tempo bridge and some of the best bass-lines Steve has ever written! The song is exciting and unlike anything Steve Harris and Iron Maiden have done so far. Hint: pay attention to the bridge right after the refrain!

Iron Maiden - Remember Tomorrow
ΚριτικέςSlow intro, high vocals, superb bridges and refrain, outstanding tune and a great solo... This song is one of the first songs that made me love the Paul DiAnno era and the band's two first albums. Actually this one made me wonder why Paul didn't have the music career he should have and I don't mean the endless tours he's having, countless bands, from Battlezone to Dianno and stuff. Remember Tomorrow is slow-mid tempo song, with both acoustic and power parts and the most important is the presentation of the band's behalf, the instrumental parts/bridges, which are still classic!

Bruce Dickinson - Jerusalem
ΚριτικέςAll the majesty of that magical voice is spread upon this track. Jerusalem is featured in Chemical Wedding album and it's the one you have to listen live to enjoy all that magic coming out of Bruce's voice. The one and only performer that made excellent songs sound even better live! It's funny though, this one was cut off the Scream for me live album back in 1999.

Blaze - Tenth Dimension
ΚριτικέςFrom the self-titled concept album, Tenth Dimension is by far the strongest song there, where Blaze Bayley gives his best on his fine solo career so far. The drumming by Jeff Singer is tight (especially the intro), heavy riffs, catchy solo and great harmonies sum up a fantastic song. Did you think we would allow you to share the discovery?

Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man
ΚριτικέςFirst song since that short-hair guy returned to the band, opening track of the masterpiece called Brave New World and Adrian Smith did his magic again with an absolutely stunning opening riff, leading straight to a totally album opener hit. The Wicker Man, based on the self-titled movie (not to be confused with Bruce's solo career one) became one the fans favorite songs during gigs. Dean Karr did a wonderful job, creating probably their best up to date official video clip! The promotional radio release of the song features extra vocals in the chorus, not present in any other versions. Sing along, jump high and scream for the Wicker Man!

Psycho Μotel - City Of Light
ΚριτικέςPlain British hard rock music by a band that never made it popular. City of Lights is the hit song of State of Mind album with a fantastic bridge and refrain, great composing by the mastermind called Adrian Smith and wonderful singing by (Hans Olav) Solli. A sing-along song, by a great band.

Iron Maiden - Rime of the Ancient Mariner
ΚριτικέςSamuel Taylor Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, is one of the very best epic Iron Maiden songs ever composed and performed in their history! The song is still Iron Maiden's longest one (at 13 minutes and 42 seconds in length). Nothing more to say, read the lyrics, feel the curse and the wind!

Iron Maiden - Phantom of the Opera
ΚριτικέςBased on the French beloved novel, the Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, according to Bruce Dickinson is really everything that Iron Maiden is all about. I believe that it's the most technical progressive song the band ever wrote, especially while we are talking about thirty-plus years ago. Alright I was born some years later, Iron Maiden has already reached the top by this song only! Nothing more to say, just enjoy this song, either with Paul DiAnno or the mighty Bruce on the live versions around the internet.

Bruce Dickinson - Accident of Birth
ΚριτικέςOMG… An extraordinary song, so powerful and so inspired. A mature composition, with mature vocals and Bruce during his best solo period. The song is 15 year old but already has a place in my “classic songs” list. Fantastic guitars (don’t forget that the name Adrian Smith is in the album!) and fantastic bridge. A pure heavy metal song that will always make me admire (again) Bruce’s multilevel talent.
Don't miss!
