Steve Harris is taking British Lion out on the road this year on a 22 date UK club tour starting on July 29th in Harlow, Essex at The Square and finishing at the London 02 Islington Academy on Aug 26 (full list of dates below). Tickets go on sale Friday 12th, priced £15. Guests are The Raven Age.
Steve says,
“As Maiden fans know, the band is unable to tour this year so I thought I’d do some British Lion live dates and make it a full UK tour this time round so we could get to places we didn’t get a chance to play during the previous tours.
We have a lot of fun doing the British Lion shows and we’re playing clubs again, to keep that same vibe and intimacy which the fans seem to love as much as we do. We have some new songs in the set-list, so are really looking forward to getting out there and seeing everyone! “
British Lion is Steve’s debut CD outside Iron Maiden. Featured alongside Steve on bass are Richard Taylor on vocals, David Hawkins on guitar and keys, Grahame Leslie on guitar, and Simon Dawson on drums. The album was mixed by Kevin Shirley [Maiden’s longstanding producer] and was released through EMI in September 2012.
